Meet Destiny

Destiny Alvarez is a Miami-based attorney, managing partner, and candidate for Circuit Court Judge focused on fairness, professionalism, and equal justice under the law.

She serves as Managing Partner of the Coral Gables office of Goede, DeBoest & Cross, where she leads the firm's Miami-area practice and handles complex matters in banking law, land use, and civil litigation. Her work brings together legal precision and practical problem-solving to resolve disputes efficiently and fairly.

Destiny has built her career in the courtroom, managing a high-volume litigation docket across Florida courts and earning a reputation for preparation, professionalism, and respect for all parties involved. She believes the role of a judge is to ensure every case is heard fairly, every person is treated with dignity, and decisions are grounded in the law.

Her commitment to public service includes serving as a Florida Gubernatorial Fellow, where she worked on statewide policy initiatives and received the Governor Jeb Bush Award for Outstanding Achievement. She also gained judicial experience as an extern in the United States District Court, giving her insight into the responsibilities and standards expected of the bench.

Destiny is active in Miami's legal and civic community and is committed to making the court system accessible, transparent, and fair for all residents.

She earned her Juris Doctor and Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Florida, where she was inducted into the University of Florida Hall of Fame and recognized as an Outstanding Student Leader.
